What to Expect

  • Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House): The House of Virgin Mary is the first destination on the Ephesus Tour. Mary might have spent her final days at the House of the Virgin. She might have arrived in the area with Saint John after all.

In 1986, it was formally recognized as a shrine by the Roman Catholic Church. Finally, this location has gained popularity as a destination for pilgrims.

  • The Temple of Artemis: The Temple of Artemis is one of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity. Here, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to capture images of the Church of St. John and the Mosque of Isa Bey.
  • Ancient City of Ephesus: Ephesus is famous for the cultural practices of the Ancient Greek, Roman Imperial, and early Christian periods. It is a significant location for Christians because it was one of the seven churches mentioned in Genesis.

We will visit the Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, and Latriens.

  • Sirince Koyu: Sirince is an ancient settlement of “Rum” (Byzantine Greeks) on the highlands of Selcuk, seven kilometers from Ephesus. You will get some free time to do wine drinking in the region, which is known for its lovely traditional homes and fruit-flavored wine making.
